Benfish Orchid Tourist Lodge

It was a weekend family trip in the month of May 2018. Situated in higher Cart area, within the lap of the nature enclosed by the trees and orchids. The hotel, benfish tourist lodge kalimpong and particularly, the family room was very huge and elegantly adorned with a pleasant stunning tiny personal room (with dressing table and full-size mirror ) and a common balcony. Kanchenjunga can be seen from the balcony. The room has one bed, 2 chairs and a middle table with CTV. View from the balcony was awesome. The balcony was giving a 180-degree view of the ridge and the way to Kalimpong market. It was a weekend family trip in the month of May 2018. Nyc place to stay cool;calm and clean.Good ambience with homely atmosphere and good quality Bengali food. staffs behaviour is very polite.

In case you are looking to spend no more than 1000 rs for stay and are ok with basic necessities, this is the place to be in. Its a government Lodge, so not much investment has gone into it to make it anything fancy. Basics will be met, so don't expect anything flashy. Only if the government desires to make it more attractive will help it find more takers. However, just enjoy the surrounding area of the hotel by taking an early morning walk behind the hotel or towards pine view nursery ud83dude01

Nice place to stay home like food is also good. Can see mount kanchenjanga from room.
