Awesome view of the beautiful lake Nainital and the picturesque hills surrounding the city. Worth place to go. This is also one of the way to reach snow view point, other mode is via those snaky roads.

It is very helpful for going to Snow view point, where from one could see the snow covered Himalayan range. this place is very high so trekking is difficult. this rope way takes you there with in no time. waiting time is not much, you can spend 1 hour there after that you have to return. the aerial view is awesome. have a trip, it's worth.

A must visit to either just enjoy a ropeway or to get a wonderful view of the city while going up, or the fabulous view from the top. A nice shopping mart, a wonderful view of the peaks, air gun shooting and a small amusement park await for a great family experience. Suggest book the tickets for the ropeway a day in advance so as not to be disappointed, especially during the season. Be aware of the time spent on top in order to catch the down ride

You wont get a separate compartment for your family. You'll have to stand and go with other people. Also there are long waiting hours at times.
