Passenger and some express trains have stop here. The station premises need some improvement.nTaxi facility available in the front end. Atm Points are there. Shelter in the seconde platform is poor for the weather.nnOne of the important things is that the private bus stand is very near to the station about 5 minutes walk from the first platform.

They railway staff here is very rude and not at all helpful especially the people in enquiry. They are rather provocative in their conversation. The maintenance is very lethargic as well and it always smells foul all around and in the station. Despite numerous complaints and notices, the officials here are still continuing their irresponsibility.
