This place was part of Jim Corbett's original estate now Shivey and his family own it and they took amazing care of us. Staff is great and food is fantastic. It was a treat to go for morning walk to Dorothy's seat with Shivey and hear amazing stories of Nainital from him

One of the beautiful residences of Nainital abounding with beautiful flowers. Now also a home stay. Has a spectacular view. The drive up is a tad steep but parking is available.

In a time when hill stations have started to slowly slip into hype, the way to enjoy these scenic, hill-top towns is to choose the best place to stay. And if it's Nainital, it has to be Clifton. Nature, history, peace -- it's FULL of it!

If you are looking for peace, this is where you should stay! Its a beautiful property with very colonial interiors. It was apparently owned by Jim Corbett's family!nWent to stay there in the winters. Had a wonderful time! The food was simple, but homely and tasty.nThe Room was cozy. The washroom was clean and spacious.nHad a chance to converse with the owner. He was nice enough to host us for Dinner and drinks. He shared a lot of stories about Nainital which we couldn't have imagined about this small town!nWould totally go back!
