Mortilo Tower

Martello towers are small defensive forts has historical importance build during the 19th century.They stand up to 40 feet high.The round structure and thick walls of solid masonry made them resistant to cannon fire, while their height made them an ideal platform for a single heavy artillery piece.The colour of the tower is red and from their we can see the neighboring areas.

This mertello tower is historical, this was built by British.But this is just model of mertello tower.its used to observe the freedom fighters.

Best place to chill out.

Good historical place .....nice environment ..

Place is historical..... My favourite.... But isn't in good condition.... Lack of guard... So it became urinal for the local visitors
