Absolutely pathetic. If I had my way, I would make sure that India would have an extremely strong law around providing after-sales support for products and services to ensure that companies like Xiaomi are forced to improve upon this aspect.nnXiaomi's products are absolutely stunning and offer great value for money; however their after-sales product support is as good as non-existent.nnBasically the first time your Xiaomi phone develops any defect (even the smallest defect), you can rest assured that Xiaomi will move you to tears if you try to get your product serviced from their authorized service centers in India.nnI owned a Mi 3 phone which worked well for slightly less than 2 years. Suddenly, I started observing a sharp fall in the battery capacity. I tried resetting the phone to factory defaults to see if that helped, but I became sure that the battery needed a replacement.nnSince my phone was in pristine condition - absolutely scratchless and working very well, I decided to visit a Xiaomi authorized service center. I tried reaching them out on phone through their phone number listed on the company website. No response.nnTried few more authorized service centers listed on the website - same thing no response. They never pick their phone. Ever.

Employees are responsive.. But not all mobile parts will be available with them, most of the time they'll need to order them.. So we need to wait for nearly 3 to 4 days for small work.. They know Telugu, Tamil and English also.
