Small bridge standing strong even after the floods. Surroundings have recovered after the floods. This place as such is having many view points around and can be explored limitlessly.

This is the bridge connecting cheruthoni and kattappana. The construction is good but there is not enough width.

This is the main link, connecting Cheruthoni (a small town in Idukki) with rest of Idukki town like Idukki township, Kattapana, Kumily, Nedumkandam and towards Tamilnadu. So it plays a vital role in day to day life. This bridge was constructed by Canadian company as a part to Idukki Hydel project. The strength n robustness of the constitution was seen during the Kerala 2018 flood. Awesome construction by Canadian company. Talks for a new bridge is in progress.

Memory of the Flood of 2018. Even small bridges were washed away in the district, except the Cheruthoni Bridge, which continues to remain intact, without any damage.
