Bhojpur is famous for the incomplete Bhojeśvar temple dedicated to Shiva. The height of Linga is 18 ft, one of the tallest linga in India. It's a mystery that why the temple was incomplete. You can still see the architectural plans of the temple engraved on the surrounding rocks.

It's said that during mahabharat when pandavas worshiped lord shiva , bheem created this temple in just one night by carving the whole stone and placing the shivling . River betwa flows near this temple creating beautiful scenics. Must visit when touring bhopal .
