Bhopal Museum & Art Gallery

Sadar Manzil, the historic building of the city, has been renovated in a very spectacular way, now the Bhopal museum, restaurant and art gallery are also being established in this palace. This palace with its new colors and lighted will be opened to the general public from 3 February 2021. The entire building is decorated with colorful theme based lights, which makes its grandeur visible.nnSadar Manzil was built by Shah Jahan Begum in 1898, later his daughter Nawab Sultan Jahan converted it into a Durbar Hall. Many Viceroys and prominent leaders kept coming here, in 1953 when former President Shankar Dayal Sharma was the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, he used this palace as a municipality of Bhopal. Over a period of time, the Shivraj Singh government shifted the municipality elsewhere and brought the historic heritage to its old form.
