Shaurya Smarak is a wonderful place to take your kids to, to encourage patriotic feelings or encourage them to join armed forces. If nothing else, it gives a great history lesson that there were other freedom fighters apart from Gandhi-Nehru.nnPlus details about presidents, chiefs of army, navy and air force staff was also valuable. Must visit place.

Huge open spot in the centre of the city beautifully landscaped. History and other facts on India's armed forces are very well displayed. Been here twice and love it each time.

Shaurya Smarak is a war memorial situated at Bhopal sprawled over the large place of approximately 12 acres. It is developed as a public park with innovative and exciting architectural installations depicting the sacrifice of the infantrymen. There is a 62-ft excessive sculpture rising from the floor referred to as Shaurya Stambh depicting the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
