Another term referring to those grocery stores is produce markets. The fruits and vegetables are of different types. The fruits are from assorted places and different cultures. Since both the fruits and vegetables are perishable, they are always under conditions that will keep them fresh for as long as possible.nnConvenience stores are also small grocery stores that sell sandwiches and snack foods. Usually the prices are higher than in supermarkets or ordinary grocery stores. A delicatessen store also offers foods that last for a day. Some of such stores are large like supermarkets and have their food shelved.
