This place is all about how in the ancient time people used to do the ritual activity. You will find various kind of medicine trees inside. This place is little bit far from Shillong. But I will definitely recommend this place. If you are travelling to Shillong or staying then please visit this place as you will get to know the history behind the name sacred here. There will be guide who will go with you in chargeable basis.

I just loved this place... Inside the forest u will get to know all history of it... Many medicinal trees are there...

Very good place and close to Shillong, must visit if you are travelling to Shillong. Guide is expensive and they don't permit you inside. Only one tea joint, hence carry your food and water. Nice place to have picnic and kid's can enjoy outdoor playing. Once inside forest you can't believe you are in Shillong.

Beautiful untouched virgin forest. Not allowed to take even a leaf outside of the forest. Its so amazing to see how the khasi tribe is preserving this forest. Nothing less than excellent.
