Today I will bring you around with me through my writing to Sunamganj. Many of us went to Sunamganj especially to visit Tangua Haor. Or many have visited Shimul Bagan in Sunamganj again. If you go ahead from it, it means if you go ahead from Tangua Haor, you will see Tekerghat.nLake on one side and small hills on the other. Which you can't help but be fascinated by. It is as if nature is sitting in its own mind for you ..nnTekerghat is basically an abandoned limestone mine. Limestone used to be extracted here earlier. Ever since it was declared abandoned, this Tekerghat seems to be becoming a land of beauty for tourists.nYou can go to Dharmapasha in Sunamganj and Tangua Haor in Tahirpur Upazila in two ways. I talked about Tangua Haor because if you go to Tangua Haor, you can visit two places at once.nn1 You can go by train to this take Ghat. First you take the Haor Express and come to Mohanganj Railway Station. From there you can take a rickshaw to the bridge of Daulatpur village. If you come by train, you will need 320 rupees for a comfortable chair. And Daulatpur will charge 60 rupees from Mohanganj. The rickshaw will take you down to the base of the bridge. This bridge basically separates Netrokona and Sunamganj. You will take a rickshaw from the bridge to Dharma Pasha village. The rent will be 60 rupees. From there come to Taherpur. There you will find Tangua Haor. Rent a boat or spread board around Tangua Haor. When the sun goes down, tell the boatman to drop you off at Tekerghat. Boat rent will be around 600 rupees. It will take you 30 minutes to walk from the wharf where you will be dropped off or you will have to pay 10 rupees by auto. Tekerghat will fill your mind. Blue water on one side and small hills and some hills on the other side are peeking at the last border of Bangladesh.n2 If you want you can come to Sunamganj by bus. You can take any bus from Saidabad to Sunamganj or take Shyamoli or Hanif to Sunamganj. The rent will be 550 rupees. It will take about 5 hours. They will drop you off in front of the new bridge. You will see some people standing there with motorcycles for you. If you want to go directly to Tekerghat, you can reserve. The rent will be 300 to 500 rupees. On the way to Tekerghat, the magical river will fall. 5 rupees for a person and 20 rupees for a motorcycle to cross it. Again you can break and go. You will have to pay 200 rupees for the magic bridge from the new bridge and 120 rupees to cross the river and take a motorcycle to Tekerghat for 120 rupees. You must pay the price before renting. Then some of your money will be saved.nIf you want to go just to see Tekerghat then I would say go for winter time. Then the water of the haor is very low and the risk of life is less. And be able to enjoy the real beauty of nature. And if you want to go by train, it means you can see Tangua Haor and Tekerghat, then you can go at the end of the rainy season and in the autumn.nnAlthough the accommodation in Sunamganj is not very bad, you will find good quality hotels. Hotel rental depends largely on the season and the size of the room. And since you are going to the haor area there will be no problem with food. Especially you will not find any shortage of fish. You will find fresh fish in all the food hotels nearby. On the way to Dhaka, you can bring big lobsters at low prices.nYou can plan for a total of two days. If you go by train, the total cost will be 1500 rupees and if you sit down, it will cost 2000 rupees.nnBut why the delay? Come back once and enjoy the boundless beauty of nature.
