Great place in West khasi hills. It's one of the largest river island with a great beach. People can spend quality time over here. It's great if you bring your own recreational stuffs for hiking , fishing and cycling.

Nice location for a picnic or camping. Nights are quite cold if you camp on the beach. There are no shops nearby, so make sure you take everything you need. Food is also not available locally. Be careful of the local people. They can be quite rowdy. Some local youths broke one of the side mirrors of our parked car. There is a beautiful waterfall with a viewing platform, about an hour away if you like trekking. Scenery is beautiful.

The most beautiful piece of paradise on the hills, white sandy shores, Chrystal clear water that you see the bottom from a boat, green meadows, mangroves,rocky roaring waterfalls. It is really a sight to behold and worth the 3 hours trek from the bridge near one of the falls
