You will not believe that you are just few kilometres away from Bhubaneswar city. A wonderful place to spend some time with nature. Nicely maintained. We visited in April. I believe the best time to visit will be winter and rain season. Great view of reservoir from the roof top of the dining hall. Food preparation is local. Must try Dalma. Thanks to the staffs.

A beautiful spot Just outskirt of Bhubaneswar.The view form the room is Awesome.I strongly suggest to come here in Rainy season though winter season is quite good to enjoy.But in Rainy season the view is ultimate.The lush greenery is everywhere.The food is Excellent.

Went there with an expectation to relax under the trees, in a quiet peaceful place and watch the water body for hours. Alas!!!! None of my expectations met ud83dude10. Nothing great or a wow factor to travel all the way to Deras Dam.nnFrom entry point, you need to walk a long distance to the dam area. Not recommended for Sr. Citizens. Not recommended for kids too as there is nothing for kids to enjoy. No place to sit and enjoy the so called 'Nature' camp. Entry fee of Rs 40/- per head + parking fee of Rs 20/- is not worth.

Opened up for tourists in 2018, this camp is located in the sylan offshoot of hills and Deras water reservoir. A nature based and wildlife based tourism should definitely help tourist flocking in. Very clean facility, perfect for family getaway.

Very nice place for weekends & specially for photography as area is filled with various types of birds
