Please don't visit it ,i went to visit it on 8/02/21 but it is closed due to corona.

This place is located infront of quite a bustling market ( in the day time that is ) and might be hard to spot. I was lucky in that the owner was present at the place and gave me a brief summary on the history of the house, along with it's first owner, Ananda Rangapillai. The house consists of two architectural styles : Tamil architecture for the bottom part and French Architecture for the top. As the goal has changed to preservation, people are no longer allowed to go the top.nnP.S : The place is OPEN! Please make a prior appointment with the owner before visiting the place.

Currently its closed. They are renovating. It will be closed for atleast 3 months. If anyone visits after today, add to thw review that it has open back again. Can't review so gave 1 star.

The direction in Google is little confusing. The Mansion is beautiful. We don't get to see all rooms. Its worth visiting the mansion.nP.S : Photography in outside area is prohibited.
