This is one of the best aquariums I've been too. The best covid procedures I've ever seen. For the first time since march I went somewhere and felt safe. From mask requirement, temperature check, Social Distancing and enforced. We went when they first opened that day and it was the best time to go, low traffic volume. It never felt crowded at all. Absolutely recommend this place and the location is beautiful! Oh let's not forget the verity of aquatic creatures was fabulous!! Saw ones we've never seen before!
It was such an amazing time with my family. We will be coming back. The fish were beautiful and the stingray feeding is so cool! The staff was EXCELLENT. I have a young child on the spectrum, and a couple staff members went above and beyond to make my child feel comfortable. That means a lot to us!..... Please, go visit the aquarium, and check out all the surrounding cool stores and food.
There is a great variety of Sea creatures from all over the world. I really liked the Eel exhibit and the fish tank that looked really cool when you took pictures behind it. The staff called it the "Nemo" Tank. I just think the tickets are pricey and that is why I have it a 4 star rating. I still recommend going for a fun family day. You can learn a lot too. My favorite is always the largest tank with the sharks inside of it.
The aquarium was wonderful. There were so many opportunities for hands on; touch and feel; experiences and the displays were dynamic and very interesting. We were there during the Covid-19 restricted period so there was a lot of distancing required, but the flow was great. We would love to go back once the restrictions are lifted, but it really is a special place.
Even during the pandemic, we had a great experience! Many others have written comments about the employees not enforcing the mask rule. However we did not experience this at all. The employees constantly disinfected, and everyone kept their distance, including many of the children. It was wonderful to see all of the animals without the crowds, so I actually preferred the social distancing. All of the interactive areas and touch pools were open as well. I do think it was worth the money, and we spent a good 3 hours in here!
