If you are in Shillong and have extra day, get a local guide and hike through this forest. The forest is considered sacred and is the locals has preserved it very well. Its a dense forest with very little sunlight reaching the earth. Apart from enjoying the beautiful nature you will also know about the local beliefs, customs and traditions told by the guide during the walk. Must visit for nature lover

Beautiful place with beautiful people.Beautiful location for panoramic view of Shillong. Sit & Relax and enjoy the place. Location is inside military area so keep your id's with you while visiting this place.

Nice place. Has nothing much to see on spot. But to go here you have to pass through army colony which I liked.
