I believe this park is one of the best parks in India I have ever seen. Best time to visit is right at the sunrise. It is usually not crowded early in the morning. As the sun comes up the hill, first rays fall on the garden and a layer of fog covering it. Right at the bottom of the Sun, we see a small beautiful waterfall.nThere is a very well maintained children's park, places to sit and chill and availability of washrooms.

One of the favourite place to hang out with family & friends. Even Elephant Falls which is beside the Matilang Park can be seen easily from the park itself. The place is very good especially for the children's to play merry-go-round, swing, slide to name a few.
