Amazing place to visit if you are in Shillong, it is situated inside the city. I would recommend people visiting this place either with friends or family. The park is surrounded with green trees and flowers, especially around November like right now since there is lots of cherry blossom in the park and it looks beautiful and awesome. There are few animal and few birds kept inside the park as well. You would need 20 Rupees per head to enter this park and enjoy.

It was a very nostalgic experience for me to visit Hydari Park this time. I used to go there as a kid with my mother to play and run around. It was a pleasant surprise to find it still so beautiful and well maintained, with a profusion of flowers, manicured green lawns and towering trees. The water features could do with some cleaning. The animal enclosures should just be done away with; no one likes to see animals and birds in captivity. But other than that, it was a pleasant experience to take a long evening walk here.

If you're looking for spending time owth friends, family or a partner, this is an excellent choice. There are a number of places to visit like the animal park, prehistoric museum and a playground for kids. But it may be very crowded on weekends

The park is situate at the backyard of the bustling township. A pure recreational space with animal lane. Go with family and kids
