This is Tough trek. Not for beginners.It will test your endurance.nThe transport was not well organized. The food could have been better.nThere was no mechanism for medical care like oxygen, transport if someone has a medical issue. The place is scenic. The people are polite.nBut they must improve on travel, food , and make arrangements for medical problems. If you can run a 21K marathon easily this trek is for you .

Trekked to Goecha la with Black Yak team. The team is a bunch of sensitive and thoughtful individuals who make all attempts to adapt to the trekkers needs. Right from the pace of the hike to the sleeping arrangements in the tents with mattresses.nI highly recommended Black Yak for personalised and boutique trekking expeditions.

Had a very personal touch... the mattresses in the tents were wonderful... the home stays were decent and the sleeping bags were quite warm... the caring guides team is something we all appreciated.. inspite of the difficult terrain, their patience was exemplary... Dinesh, Nema, sarchu and Aita were our guides and they all did a wonderful job of keeping us safe and at the same time taking care of our demands.. highly recommended

Great efforts put by the team ( pushpa/ lead guide-Nima, Dinesh and other guys), made out trek to goechala very successful and memorable. I would definitely recommend Black yak/ pushpa for the awesome experience they provide during the trek/stay. They are very caring and responsible.

We 'Trekkers for cause' (a group of trekking doctors) hired black yak expeditions this year for 'Goecha la trek'. It was a grand success and for that the whole credit goes to black yak expeditions team. Pushpa, neema, dinesh, sanchu all worked very hard to make it a successful event. We highly recommend them for difficult Himalayan treks.
