A long walk to the ruins(around 1km). A nice hill view from the ruins. Bird sanctuary is closed. Maybe a place for good pictures but overall not that worth visiting. The palace does not seem like a palace at all.

This was the second capital of Sikkim established by the Chogyal kings. It was destroyed by the Nepalese invasion and since then the place has turned into ruins. The trail to this place is through dense forests and can be a little arduous for people who don't trek much. Mesmerising view of surrounding mountains can be visible from here on a sunny day. There is a small bird park nearby as well.

A must visit place... Its so peaceful, you can easily spend an entire afternoon here. Perks of off season, absolutely no one to disturb.

A beautiful place to spend a short time. You have a small restaurant at the start of the trail that has good momos. Then there is a short 15-20 mins walk to the ruins which is filled with forests. The route and the ruins are a beautiful site. A must visit near Pelling. There is a toilet near the ruins
