General InstructionsnNational Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) - 2020 will be conducted as per the regulations of thenNational Medical Commission Act-2019, Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 andnother relevant and applicable Acts, as amended from time to time.n• Merely appearing and qualifying in NEET (UG) - 2020 does not confer any right to the candidate fornadmission to Undergraduate Medical Courses. The selection and admission to UndergraduatenMedical Courses seats in any Medical Institution recognized for offering Undergraduate MedicalnCourses is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness andnsuch other criteria as may be prescribed by the Government of India, respective States, Universities,nInstitutions and Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homeopathy Colleges.n• Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will be rejected and suchncandidates will be further debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by NTA. Suchncandidates will also be prosecuted under applicable laws for criminal offence and suitably punished.n• Incomplete application and applications not in accordance with instructions are liable to be rejectednwithout any further intimation.n• The examination fee once deposited will not be refunded. Fee will neither be carried forward to anfuture examination nor refunded.n• Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Candidates must note that mere deduction of feenfrom the bank account is not a proof of fee payment. The payment should be supported by feenpayment and generation of Confirmation Page.n• Instructions in the Information Bulletin may change /be updated based on decisions taken by the NTAnand other authorities from time to time. Candidates are advised to regularly check the websitenntaneet.nic.in for any further updates or information.n• NTA reserves the right to withdraw permission, granted inadvertently if any, to any candidate who isnnot eligible to appear in the NEET (UG) - 2020 even though the Admit Card have been issued by thenNTA.n• Candidate’s eligibility for NEET (UG) - 2020 is purely provisional and is subject to fulfilment of eligibilityncriteria prescribed by the MoH&FW/MCI/NMC/DCI/NTA/MCC/ MoA/AACCC/CCIM/BoGCCH /othernadmitting Institutions as applicable.n• In case of any ambiguity in interpretation of any of the instructions/ terms/ rules/criteria regardingndetermination of eligibility/conduct of examination/ registration of candidates/informationncontained therein, the interpretation of the MoH&FW/MCI/NMC/DCI/NTA/MCC/other admittingnInstitution as applicable shall be final and binding.n• The conduct of NEET (UG) - 2020 Examination would be videographed. The candidates are requirednto keep their head in upright position and face the camera during the videography so that theirnidentity could be clearly established.
