This beach is a drinking spot for rowdies. The place is littered with broken bottles and plastic cups. However, there is some development happening and things may improve

Calm and cool place to visit in pondy.. You may not see much crowd here but not recommended for family group.. Govt has to take a bit extra care in this location to promote tourism.. You can see all brand of liquor bottles in this locations thrown empty and broken in many spots... Absolutely No for ladies and yes for gents...

Dirty place as you can find all kind of garbages in the sea.nThe beach is full of empty liquor bottles.nNot advisable for family outing.nNeeded strict maintenance. If it happens then it may be a tourist spot.nYou can see a lot of fishermen fishing.nYou can also get a sunset.nThe very old rusted boats staying in the water with its reflection is amazing !!!
