Do not buy any policy from HDFC life. I purchased a policy six years back and to get it liquidated, I have been trying from last 2 months. They need both the applicant and the beneficiary in person to liquidate policy.nYou cannot do it online or over email in today's world. With other insurance policies, it takes usually 10 mins to complete the process, but with HDFC life, the experience has been worst so far.nDo clarify the process and terms to liquidate. They don't want you to surrender the policy and have made the processes tuff.nI would recommend considering other insurance companies if you want to keep you money safe and avoid Hassel
