Good place to spend time beside hooghly river

The old Jagannath Temple is just in front of the river Ganga. Daily puja is held at morning and evening. Many devoted people has come here. Rath Jatra is also organise by the authority of the temple. The Mayurponghi on the road is a popular destination for the locals. It is a landmark of the Jagannath Ghat. The sitting arrangement of this ghat is very good. One can enjoy the beauties of the river Ganga from here. Many people takes Holy bath in the Ghat. There is a change room for the females here. Pay and use toilet is also near by.
