The Denmark Tavern

Too much expensive.. delay in delivering.. tastes not up to the mark.. not recommended for common mass..

Ambience is really good. Very spacious. The menu could have a lot more stuff. The sauce used is very predictable and probably won't suit a few of people. The chicken was tender. The price is relatively high due to the brand value of the parent. Overall a pretty decent experience. Good for a brief meal or snack if you are nearby but probably not worth travelling from far away places just for this.

The 234 years old Denmark Tavern, the heritage building in Serampore, has been restored & we, being the people of Serampore, can surely take some pride in the fact that this historical place is open for common people. On visiting there, you will find the location and especially the ambiance to be very interesting & love to spend good time in the cafe cum restaurant.nThe restaurant is maintained by THE PARK. We thought of trying Espresso and Chicken Onion Capsicum Pizza from a wide range of menu there. There's no doubt about the quality of food. The staffs there are friendly and polite. The foods are moderately priced.nLooking forward to visit again.

We had a very bad experience here this evening. We entered there at 6 in the evening, waited there for more than half an hour and no one attended us. We had to ask for water and menu card. After selecting the items we again waited for another 15 min and again the ordeal repeated. We again called the service boy to take our order. The waiting time thereafter seemed ages. We get our food after 40 min, that too after threatening them to leave the place without having anything. The food there was extremely less in quantity and quality for its cutthroat price.nnSuperficially, the place feels ambient as if you're walking into the past. Hygiene was well maintained and the air-conditioning was comfortable. However, we advise you against a visit to the place if satisfying your taste buds is your top priority. It'll leave you bitter and disappointed if you except it to be worthy of your time and expenditure.nnLeaving 1 star only because it allows me to leave an honest and not ao promising review. Else, I would not have taken any effort at all.
