Flurys - Serampore

Went their on 25th December evening and the place was full and they didn't even have tables to offer just a few chairs placed around the place, the tables were already full. Had coffee and hot chocolate. Although I visited Denmark Tavern few days ago for lunch and saw that they have arranged few tables in the garden area, it would have been great if they had done this few weeks ago.

This place used to be good but recently there's been a huge rush specially on Sundays and it's really difficult for the single staff member to take care of this efficiently. Naturally, qualities degrade and waiting times become frustrating. In the coming days, specially during Christmas, this is liable to worsen even further due to the undermanned nature of the same. The management, if they care to listen, should really look into this urgently if they wish to keep up the standard of the Name.

Very unprofessional behavior by... Mr biswajeet... Sales man of flurys... ..while giving the order... He says... Last order is 8:30 ....me and my husband was.. Here today on Saturday... We got bullied... The sales man biswajeet Chakraborty ... Misbehaved with my husband.. In serampore branch flurys... Please take action..

The place is very beautiful, but it is heavily understaffed. We have to wait for long hours to get our orders. Otherwise, the food is good.

There was a distinct nip in the air on a pleasant evening in Serampur, and we were inching towards Valentine's week! Love was in the air. As it is often said, a great grub is a window to the soul. The romantic weather whetted our appetite big time. But instead of wholesome staple, we decided to have something light yet scrumptious! As we were walking along the bank of sacred Ganga, we set foot in the riverside outlet of flurys—one of the best cake shops in the city. The place is a quaint escape from the bustle of city life. The steward was extremely amiable. From the wide range of delicacies, our eyes set on the chocolate cupcake and red velvet pastries. The yum eats were perfectly accompanied by a strong cup of coffee which was served in a jiffy. The chocolate cake was replete with Italian dark chocolate. With every bite of it, the rich flavour of chocolate was bursting in our mouth. The red velvet pastry was soft yet crisp. It was moderately sweet. And that pleased my wife a lot. This outlet is perfect if you want to spend quality time with your nearest ones. The place is quiet and peaceful and very well maintained. If you consider the price, it may appear a touch pricey.
