Gentle Dentistry - New Hope Winnetka Office

I can't begin to tell you how AMAZING everyone was. I hadn't been to the dentist in 6 years because I was too embarrassed of my eating disorder. They made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in and didn't judge me one bit. I could not have imagined a better place to get everything done after not having been to the dentist for 6 years. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me get my confidence back!

This place is the worst!! Twice I was "supposedly" given prescriptions and, many excuses later, I was not able to get my prescriptions filled!! 4 days of pain after a grueling molar extraction!! The "dentist" lies to you in your face about a prescription, the receptionist lies to you in your face about prescription AND THEN lies to you over the phone to cover up for the lying dentist!!! My mouth was being prepped on the left side for a molar extraction that was going to happen on my right side!!!! Had cavities filled and now MORE food gets stuck in my teeth than ever before, very uncomfortable!!!! I can feel the tops of some of my teeth now where they were ground down too far!! THIS PLACE IS VERY, VERY SUSPICIOUS!!! THE "SUPPOSED DENTIST" is always out sick?!?! Do NOT reccomend a place where a "dentist" doesn't even have the power to write a prescription!!!!

Called to inquire about appointment and insurance information. Couldn't make it work on my end but the dude who helped me on the phone was really nice and helpful. 5 stars would be warranted but I can't give input about the quality of the dental work itself, obviously.

My boyfriend had two fillings that popped out just a few months after they put them in. He contacted this dental office and told them what happened. After a phone meeting with the dentist and office manager (or something) he was told he would be able to get them replaced at no charge. Unfortunately, due to COVID, he wasn’t able to get in until late June/early July. At the appointment, they confirmed there would be no charge and didn’t get his insurance information. Now, they’re sending him bills. He’s called several times, explaining what he was told. They just keep sending bills. The work they initially did was obviously shoddy and they offered to fix it. Now, they’re demanding pay. I don’t recommend this practice because, clearly, there’s a level of trust and talent that isn’t there.

I recently had a root canal by Dr Kumar and it was the absolutely most amazing dentist experience I have ever had. Absolutely pain free and she made me feel incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend her for anyone she will be my go to dentist from this point forward. Thank you for a absolutely great experience today!!!!!!!
