The Flower Alley

If you are looking for a reliable florist, I suggest you look elsewhere. My initial meeting with Kaila went wonderfully. I felt she truly understood my vision and seemed passionate about making my dreams a reality. I made it explicitly clear that I had no previous event floral experience and didn’t know what to expect in terms of budget, however I did have a budget I was trying to work within. She did not ask what my budget was and in fact told me she prefers not to know before making the initial proposal, stating she wants to create my dream proposal and then make adjustments to fit my budget. That seemed reasonable enough and the consultation proceeded. I left our meeting excited to see what she would come up with. When I received my proposal, the cost was nearly double my budget for floral and decor. I was so disappointed. I LOVED initially working with Kaila and was hopeful we could make something work. I responded to Kaila’s email, requesting further options within my price range, specifically inquiring about services advertised on their website (Bridal party flowers and day of coordination services without full wedding design services). It has been 2.5 weeks and I have not received any correspondance back from The Flower Alley. As a service industry, I would expect a courteous decline of my request at least, however I received nothing from them. I’m truly disappointed in their customer service, as I would have loved to work with them and believe they would’ve made my wedding beautiful.

I recently visited Flower Alley in Novi on Grand River and Novi Rd. I wanted to get a bouquet for a friend who just turned 80. I wanted red and white flowers since my friend has a Polish background. When I explained why I wanted those colors one of the store designer understood my choice of colors very well since she herself has a Polish background. Red and White are colors of the Polish Flag, The designer at Flower Alley more than took care of me, She made a beautiful bouquet and suggested a very special birthday card that store caries too. Flower Alley is a great place and I will be a customer of theirs forever.

I ordered flowers by phone for my Mom who lives 175 miles from me. The clerk I spoke to was polite, helpful and helped me decide the best flowers for my Mom's birthday. The flowers were delivered promptly and the flower arrangement was gorgeous. Thank you so much.

Dealt directly with the owner Lee Ann, who stayed open a few minutes after close to help me out, and she was wonderful to work with. Very glad I could patronize a locally owned business that's run by a nice family.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! I coordinated a wedding that they did on 9/4/2020 and the florals were breathtaking. I would use this company over and over again!
