I recently visited this place (Aaheli - The peerless inn) to witness their illish utsav.nAaheli the bengali restaurant of the peerless inn, Kolkata is running a ilish utsav to celebrate the best of ilish preparation.nBefore entering into this prestigious hotel, the staff will check your body temperature, sanitize your belongings and they will also check you via THe arogya setu app.nAs being a non bengali i love illish so much that i can imagine how much you all bengalis will love this festival. Monsoon without illish is unimaginable.nIllish pulao(recommended)nThe festival runs till 2nd October '20.nPrice for 2 people ₹1600/-

Not worth the price. Quality and sophistication is nowhere what it used be, at one time.nWe had decided to try the Buffet here and deeply regretted it for the price.

Was a great experience to be here. And since it was our first time here, we really didn't mind the price. But it is an expensive restaurant.

Very bad food was served. Fish was raw and prawn was bad thus causing upset stomach for 5 days. Really disapointed with my experience.

The ambience was on point, but the food quality has deteriorated a lot since I last visited this place a couple of years back. The mutton was stale and the mouth refreshments were pest infested. Definitely not the quality we had expected after dishing out over 11k for three people.
