Fantastic rope way over the forest, flowing rivers, forests, waterfalls and to top it all the magnificent view of the Eastern Himalayan range including the snow capped peaks of the Kanchenjunga. There are stops in between the to and fro journey of the cable car.

When we went to Darjeeling, the ropeway facility was close for some reason...but I think it is a great experience for any one

The ropeway is one of the best things to experience in Darjeeling. The view from the ropeway is ecstatic.. It is one of the longest ropeway rides I have taken till date, with 20+ mins up time and vice versa. If you are in Darjeeling please make sure you visit this place.

The ropeway is at a height of about 500 mtrs and a travel length of 2.3 km. It takes about 40 mins to up and down the total length.
