Chakraborty Hospital

The fist time I went to doctor chakraborty was in 2017. He treated me well. I spent a lot of money on tests but ultimately felt better. The second time was about an year later. I was again just given tests, I got those done - but did not pursue further treatment. Something felt off.nThis time I fell sick (bad flu that lasted days), and had no option but to go again. I was seen by a different doctor ( Dr. Suhas). He was kind, patient and gave me medicines and tests (total worth INR 4000). But they didn't help at all. When I met him again, we both knew that I wasn't completely satisfied with his diagnosis. He said that he would like to refer Dr. Chakraborty and asked me to wait. He also asked me to get an expensive CT scan done (CT scan seems to be the norm for most treatments here). I was shocked to know that by procedure, I would have to pay a consultation fee (INR 250) again for something my Dr wanted to consult for. No where does a professional charge the client for consulting their colleague in a case they want help in.nI left after a long argument and Dr Chakraborty himself refused to see me (I still hadn't paid the fee) knowing that I was still unwell.nnThe last time my father in law went, they didnt want to see him cause he said he would get the tests done from outside ( total bill of 36000 was given to him). He got a great treatment done in bangalore for half the price and is now completely well.nnAll in all, I write this to warn you to beware.nI feel that the doctors here are well learnt but what missing is a good conscience. Dr Chakraborty has become so greedy, he has lost his moral compass.nIf you have to, go, you may get cured, but this will all come at a large monetary cost.nAs for Dr Suhas, you deserve a better hospital, and thank you for the treatment so far - i understand that it was all in my best interest.
