So this is based on my recent experience. I wanted to highlight my hair. I went to the salon On 24th October morning. the male barber over there who does the job , I told him that I want to get my hair highlighted And I asked him to show me the shade card. I picked a colour from there and I specifically told him that it should not be something else. I was amazed by his confidence when he told me that you don’t worry you will get what want, exactly the same Or maybe something better. So yes I took a chance and let him do the job and once it was done, The colour look different and he told me that the colour will change once the hair dries up and I wanted to look what I did the back of my head but I really couldn’t see it because they had a small sized mirror. Anyway I trusted him and paid the co-owner Rs 900 And went home. Later when I checked I made a video of it and the colour was exactly the one I told him that I don’t want and he left almost Half of my hair black I’m attaching a video along with so that you can check for yourself so I called up their salon and the co-owner he picked up the call and I told him about this and he asked me to come again the next morning which is 25th of October morning and I went there again. And once I was there I told the guy who did the job that he did a wrong colour on my hair and it looks hideous and this is not the colour that I wanted and then starts the drama and he started making excuses that ..you know there’s already some colour on your hair that’s why its different and this and that and blah blah ..and then he made me talk to the lady who is the owner there and she was on the call with me and she told me that it’s because you had colour from before but I never did anything before and I had nothing on my hair and then she was like maybe there’s iron on your hair because of the water so the colour looks different. I don’t think anyone uses packaged drinking water for washing the head.. the point is no one accepts any kind of criticism and they just try to make excuses to cover up their unprofessionalism.nShe told me okay we will try to get it right and then I told her that no I don’t want you to get it right you cannot experiment with my hair again and again I just want you to reset it. Make it black again. And then I Told her that you should refund my money since you did nothing. You did something that I didn’t want and now you are trying to undo it. so why what am I paying here for??nThen she starts making excuses the moment I asked her for a refund. The typical excuses almost every shopkeepers use. She told me that “We used your stuff and did what you wanted and now if you don’t like it it’s not our problem”nWhat I want to say here is I really don’t care about the money but you should have ethics when you are doing a business. And it’s always not about profit. I didn’t want to argue with that woman so I didn’t ask for the refund and got it dyed back to black and leftnStop behaving like a “pan dukani” who tries to charge Rs 5 extra for a chilled cola.nnYou guys are up and running just because this is a small town. You should go to different cities across the globe and see how things work..
