Bad behaviour Although this is one place I have visited quite frequently over the last 15 years from my school dsys because of its uniqueness in items it is not a place I would recommend. The behaviour of the staff especially the manager lady has remained the same with passing years. They treat you with absolute indifference unless you are a celebrity or a foreigner. They are neither keen to guide you through different price options for item s nor seem enthusiastic in selling them. I had visited yesterday and guess what the lady was without a mask too . I am a doctor. I might not be a TV star but when I am a guest at your store one should give the minimum courtesy a customer deserves. While their tea s and sandwiches still taste good( I hope) , their behaviour leaves a bitter aftertaste. Dolly madam from today I shall stop visiting your store.

Amazing tea space. Have been visiting the place since 2014 and trust me the varieties of tea is remarkable! Must visit for a sip, chit chat and also for a great heritage!

The tea was good as usual but a bit pricey.

If you can't stand the heat and humidity, don't visit. The tea and food of this place will lure me despite the fact that it lacks air-conditioning and comfy sofas. I love the rich aroma of the tea, hot fritters and friendly "adda" and this is the perfect Bengali ambience for that. Let yourself be submerged into the chattering around you, decorated with handicrafts from Bengal, Tim tea caddies and of course the heat! I like it because it is nostalgic and I enjoy the fish fingers with my tea. You can do a bit of shopping here too if you so wish.

This is always very close to my heart since my college days. I always visit Dakhinapan with friends and family and while shopping we take rest in this tea shop for sipping tea. Previously it was a lover's den, but now the begavbeh of the staff and the quality of food are constantly deteriorating. I still don't understand why the have such a small shop and dirty kitchen when they earn quite a lot of money. I hope in future they improve the staff behavior, ambience, food and drinks quality.
