Very quiet. Very nicely kept up. Nice grass lots with trees. Was expecting a different view of the lake front...not as nice as pictured in their website...at least from the camping lots. But, it is still nice & safe & nice amenities. I would come back.

Very nice place to stay. The manager is very nice and helpful. Stayed here for work contract at local hospital, and recommend them to those who may need extended stay.

Really nice facilities. Super quite at night. Not a lot of space between each site but still great! Awesome swimming hole and good places to fish

This place gets 2 out of 5 stars from me. The 2 stars are because it is beautiful and very well kept! Unfortunately there are a group of ladies who swim in the lake that do not like kids. One of them actually works for the campground. My kids were told they can use the kayaks/paddle boats that were supplied. This lady said the rules say they can’t use any of the equipment. We went back to our camper and read all the paperwork to find that she wasn’t telling the truth. We went back to the water after confirming the “rules”. So after telling my kids what they could and could not do in the water the lady who works there proceeded to cuss and say every word in the book while my kids were in close range swimming. I confronted her and said that I would be leaving a review because of how rude and disrespectful she was but she didn’t care. She and the other ladies started talking and laughing about how management would not care about what I have to say and they they would have her back. So my point is, if you have kids this is not the place for you, and if you don’t just be aware that the staff that lives there apparently does not like us travelers. If management would like to contact me I will happily tell them the employees name and more details of what happened.

We have house there that we are selling its a double wide 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the lake side .Waldena is one of the most beautiful places down here. You can use the lake all year long . Please come down and see . Thayer even have a dog park for your dogs.
