Lake Sch-Nepp-A-Ho

This is an awesome campground. The owners are wonderful. We have been there twice this summer and they welcome you with open arms. Very well kept and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Will definitely plan on using them next summer! Very friendly both full time residents and staff. Thanks for making our camping with you enjoyable. They accommodated my sister and her husband at last minute which meant a lot to us. See you next summer.

Beautiful Campground! We went two weekends in a row and went for there Halloween weekend. The staff is amazing. Clean environment and facilities were always clean and stocked. Loved this campground will absolutely be back again!

Special needs parents, please avoid. Not autism friendly and probably not even fit for tent camping. My son has autism. They told us it was right off the highway. Here’s the thing most campgrounds are right off the highway. This campground is right on the highway. The expressway circles around it. Our kids fell asleep shaking from how loud it was and covering their ears. We booked for 2 nights. We ending up having to leave the first night around 2am and driving home for 2 hours They refused to refund us after we explained why we left. They said they turned down so many other people for our campground we booked but we booked last minute around 4pm and we actually took the spot of someone who was a no show so they were double paid for the site. I work in travel for a billion dollar company. I will not recommend this site to my clients when they travel in this area.nnI only gave it 2 stars because the staff was friendlynnSeems like an okay campground if you have an RV where you can block the sound out.nnUPDATE: Because google won’t let me respond. We were on site 61 and we called at 8am after we got home at 4am because we left the site 2am to say we were leaving because our son’s have autism and they couldn’t take it. They were tremoring. We mentioned it and we just got a “yea, so sorry we are not refunding.” When I book a campground, my son’s autism is not anyone’s business. Like I said, most campgrounds are right off the highway and so we booked it, this is right in the highway. The expressway circles all around it.

my husband and i have spent the last 3 years camping at lake schneppaho. this year we decided to become camp hosts .we had so much fun because they have so much to do and lots of events. we made many great friends and the owners Jean and Shaun are the best people to work for. we already have plans to be camp hosts again next year excellent fishing and great memories are made here. we love Lake Schneppaho

We rented a cabin last minute for a weekend getaway. From booking, the cleanliness of the campground and stuff for our daughter to do, we are very pleased. The guy who checked us in was super friendly and informative on events going on in the campground. Our cabin was very clean and cute. Will definitely be making a trip back.
