It's the nearest Shaktipeeth from Hyderabad. What an amazing place, though most of it were destroyed they still look stunning. Great architecture and a must visit place just to see that architecture even you are atheist. This is my second time,a lot improved in terms of facilities but there is lot to improve in this place and has all potential to become a popular destination

Visited on Shivaratri, the immense crowd of devotees is a testament to its importance and significance. It's best to visit on a regular day, preferably midweek, to take in the place, and to appreciate the spiritual history and culture the place stands for. I visited the place a few weeks ago, there are some really great places and monuments which were rescued before the Srisailam dam flooded the area. A great testament to the glory and history of the region.
