It's like a lifeline for the People of Kurnool, working in other Cities or Countries. this was a long time demand from the people, Work progress is very slow may take another 6 to 8 months from now to start the operations. Runway and other facilities are as advanced as other airports. may or may not have Night landing facility. Two Approach roads connecting from Kurnool, one is NH 18 enroute Nandyala and for the people of Nandikotkur and Kurnool can reach airport from Ketavaram or from Gargayapurm.
