Konni Reserve Forest

Unlike other forests in the Western Ghats, it does not have large mountains. The number of wild animals are low. But elephants are common. Peacocks and small birds abound.A road from Konni to Achankovil cuts through the middle of this forest. Similarly, Achankovil river also passes through the centre. The Achankovil River is the backbone of this forest.It has a good habitat for a variety of animals and birds. Tamil Nadu is on the eastern border.
