Built after the canonization of St. Alphonsa, the first saint of India and a pious nun, the St. Alphonsa’s Church is a pilgrimage site. Featuring a mesmerizing brick red building, the church houses the mortal remains of the saint. A scenic garden fountain adds to the beauty of the place. Further, this beautiful church in Kerala preserves a glass portrait of the saint.
