Railway Protection Force

The Railway Protection Force Thana is located at platform no. 1. The police station may be contacted for complaints and security related issues. RPF is a security force of India entrusted with protecting railway passengers, passenger area and railway property of the Indian Railways. It works under Ministry of Railways. They have powers to arrest and prosecute criminals. The offenders are booked under the Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act 1966 which is shortly known as RP(UP) Act 1966.
