Great place to grab a drink and a bite if you are taking a train out of Pondicherry. Right opposite the railway station. The service can be slow so plan accordingly.

A roof top bar run by Hotel South Avenue. Not so popular among the locals. The customers are mostly the room guests of Hotel South Avenue (Treebo), as the hotel don't allow guests to get food and drinks from outside.nnThis bar serves the regular cocktails and drinks. However, the latest and popular brands like Bira beer is unavailable. The food is very good (same kitchen of Hotel South Avenue/Golden Restaurant) and moderately priced.nnThe resident DJ plays music on weekends; but one can't enjoy the music/ambience as it's in rooftop/terrace and very noisy.nnThe service is very good from the staff.
