The Misty Mountain Hop

The adventure starts the moment you hop in the jeep. Make sure you take some food to cook since you won't want to leave (the stores are also kind of far). If hungry or lonely you can visit the Karunas farm's restaurant. The misty mountain is very special and powerful (facing east) and both Jacob and Prakash are very nice. For me the best things are the view and wilderness. Best place I've stayed at India so far.

One of the beautiful places on earth... One 've to get there by feet... Get back to basics-of-basics: Cook your own food, pitch your own tent, make your bonfire, trek your way into the woods... The Point-of-view from that loc facing the valley is breathtaking... An adequate-kitchen and Lotta space to pitch our tents... Camp Lord is a nice person and the local-people are kind...nYou can go there alone but you'll never feel lonely...

The perfect escape from the hubub of modern urban living - back to basics, in a beautiful setting with a breathtaking view and an environmental focus. I love the minimum impact philosophy - cooking, cleaning and taking care of yourself whilst being careful not to disturb the wildlife and local people. Highlights for me are - sunrises, star watching, bonfires and the ability to switch off digitally. One of my favourite places in India!
