Great Psychiatrists man this prestigious hospital. The mentally emotionally, psychologically affected patients irrespective of their age, gende, religion, caste or creed are treated with respect , unconditional love, attention and care. I am especially referring to my personal psychiatrist whose heart has flowered. I see that in spite of the extremely large number of patients to treat, she provides personal attention one patient at a time. The professors and assistant professors, doctors and the support staff act with integrity, respect and with patience in treating the patients. The bar of standards has been set so high that it will be a great challenge to raise the quality further. Here the psychiatrists spend both quality time and taking consideration of the quantity of time. Excellent crowd management and helpful support staff. Neatly marked room numbers are also very helpful even though the security staff are there to guide and help. I will recommend this great 24/7 psychiatric hospital to one and all Human beings irrespective of their age or illness to ALL be it Female Male or Transgender. I remain Murali.

It is one of the best Government hospitals at Chennai. It is speciality institute exclusively for the traetment care for the mentally affected patients. It is very big campus and very greenish and peaceful atmosphere inside the institute. It is really wonderdul to see the Government of Tamilnadu maintains this hospital very well but still need more attention for further infrastructure development and supporting staffs.

Lush green campus makes it beautiful and comfortable for the patients to visit and get treated.
