Vattakadu Lake Dam

It is a small check dam being placed over here.The water does not flow all the time but during raining seasons there is huge water flow.During those days when there is flow of water peope along with their families can visit the place have a bath and can refersh themselves.The place is calm and composed.This place do not have any parking facilities because it is a small check dam actually.The place is not so deep so that there is no need of scare while taking bath.There are no facilities like catering available nearby.But eventhough u are interested in having meal over there u have to bring it.But the best pratice that we could follow is bring food with plantain leafes so that it doesnot cause any harm to the biodiversity.People can make a visit once when there is flow of water so that u could be grateful about it.

Water flow is good and nice place to enjoy a spot for Salem ppl. But keep your valuables really safe. Heard of some theft happening around when you go for shower .
