One of the oldest graveyards in kolkata,over 400 years old, one of the biggest graveyard in the whole of Asia...well kept by the the kolkata Metropolitan authority...very neat and clean with peaceful landscape ..a paradise for graveyard photography and research works..but unfortunately there is no prohibition for photography as written on the do's & dont's board provided by the Kolkata Metropolitan authority,yet the keepers strictly restrict photography and dishearten any research queries..queerly strange.

A very calm & spiritual place.. A cemetery for Muslims.. Muslim people's dead body usually buried here.. You can find Bodies more than 2 hundred years old..
