Waterside Cafe is one of the most famous restaurant in town.... I like this restaurant..Super cool, Delicious, seriously, this place is amazing, price were very high but food taste yummy in my tummy.....vegetarian food, non vegetarian food, fast food etc..... The food is tasty band cheap, the servants are also very friendly or co operative, Nice facility or good service... Spent time with your family nd friends or partner... Every time I visit this place, I get a 5 star experience. Very great place, nd great ambiance nd decorations are composed or cleanliness is well maintained. For dinner or lunch it is a good place. Must go everyone at least once...................

Hello Madam/Sir,nnLast night my husband & I got ourselves blueberry cheesecake from hyatt regency - waterside cafe, saltlake at night aroundn10.15-30pm on 6th September, 2020.nnWe took a take away and ate it at midnight. In a couple of bites we realised there is something seriously wrong with the smell of the cake. It had a peculiar after taste and tasted stale, which gave both of us gastronomical distress.nnThis is to bring to your attention of the same. Please note we often get ourselves the same dish and used to love it until now

On the ground floor of an imposing Hyatt Regency, Kolkata, lays behind a glass facade, Waterside Cafe. A huge kitchen, open 24 hours, is ready to serve patrons with Continental and Indian along with Pasta, Pizzas and great cocktails. The name waterside is given because of the view of the swimming pool from the cafe.nnThe service is prompt here, with waiters quietly doing there chores. The menu comprises of tandoor items as well, but is open at designated hours during the day, i.e. for lunch and dinner. The compact menu leads to fast service. A soothing music is heard in between a clamorous kitchen. The walls of the kitchen have been given an aesthetic look and natural light is gleaming on the tables.nnComing to the food items, we had ordered Veg. Fried Rice. The rice was perfectly cooked, with large onion rings added to the vegetables. It gave away a different taste, the onions that is. Overall, it was a bit dry, and should be had with some accompaniments.nnNext up was the Penne Pasta. It was penne pasta served in tomato sauce along with zucchini and other veggies. We had asked for a mixed sauce pasta, but the sauce inclined more towards the tomato one. It was flooded with cream and pepper, the latter making it too spicy.nnTo cool down the extra spicy pasta, we ordered the Ginger Rock Salt Cooler, a classic cooler with ginger rock salt, soda, topped with cola. It was enticing and really soothing. It was prepared in the true sense of a cooler.nnThe major numbers go to the service and ambiance. Calm and quiet as it can get, apart from the clamor of the kitchen. The view is pretty relaxing. The food; not that good in numbers. They try to make it authentic, but adjusting to the authenticity at the behest of taste made the chefs overdo the thing. Cocktails and Mocktails are immaculate.nnUPDATE: Covid protocols are followed here. The menu is now available by scanning a QR code. The food and service continues to amaze.
