Vidya Hospital

Name changed as "Shri Hospital". Congested place.. yet lots of patients coming for treatment.

It's my second home. (One would be confused how I say so; because it's the God's honest truth in my own case). I had two major heart attacks and was admitted in this lovely hospital. The care rendered with abundance of love and consideration made me recover so soon. I was oblidged with all my requests to keep me comfortable. My quick recovery was 100% because of Vidya hospital and the doctors there. I felt homesick when I left. Today I'm in mint condition. Thanks to the lovely team. I eagerly look forward to my annual check-up here. Though I don't need to be admitted for the check up, I request for a two day stay just to have " the chilled out" feel. They are very very reasonably priced and do a lot of treatment to the very poor people. I saw many people from the lower strata there which is very clear that they are affordable to all. I have never seen a sad face during my stay there; to the contrary have noticed plenty of happy people leave. May the Lord Almighty bless the management, doctors and staff abundantly.

Horrible Hospital in Salem. Never visit this place even if you are dying. Lift is under repair. AC rooms with no remote - no chillness in this summer. Polythene covered pillows. Dirty toilets. Understaffed. Duty doctors not well qualified. RO water not working. Very bad place. The hospital is in fact a lodge with doctors visiting your rooms. Never ever visit this place.

My family goes here for all of our health issues and treatments and we are pleased with the hospitality and the good treatments of the doctors here. Best recommended hospital in the city.

Suitable for emergency purpose. Maintenance is needed more and also they must to focus on their better service. According to the doctors, all of them treating well and good.
