Went there on a Saturday. The staff was friendly and sociable. This place has a great design. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.

Love love LOVE Vermilion! The cocktails are so inventive and delicious, and the food is incredible! I love the idea of mixing Indian and Latin cuisine, and they execute it so well.

Filled me up. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I liked.

I've got to say, I was quite impressed. I don't know how folks think this place doesn't have Indian food, because it has that and more. The sous chef is from Kerala (area in South India) and the head chef is from Morelos, Mexico. The dishes reflect the vibrancy & intimacy of the flavors present in both cultures, with specific nods to each individually as well. They are taking the utmost care as far as sanitation & health/safety are concerned. Everything sanitized, barriers between tables, staff is tested for COVID EVERY WEEK, which is even more than I can say for some folks I know in medical professions right now. Sounds like they will have outdoor heaters & air purifiers soon as well for the colder months ahead. Overall, really conscientious staff as well. Beautifully redone interior & diverse menu. Definitely 5 stars. Best birthday dinner I've had in a long time, and that's saying something in 2020!!!
